Interview with Mr. Adesola Adeniyi (A VCASH Agent)

Q: How have you been finding the VCASH platform?

A: The platform is fine. I am enjoying it.

Q: What do you do apart from being a VCASH Agent?

A: I am into electrical installation. I install solar energy systems, and I am seeking to extend the services of VCASH to potential customers in the rural communities where I offer my installation service. I believe that doing so would help create more financial inclusiveness among the unbanked.

Q: When did you join VCASH?

A: I joined in November 2011. I am one of the oldest agents of VCASH in Nigeria.

Q: Why did you join VCASH?

A: I bought into the idea of the visionary of VCASH, which is Dr. Peter Ojo. That was why I decided to join several years ago.

Q: How are you using the VCASH system now?

A: I am currently re-exploring the services and seeking ways to extend such services to the public.

Q: Why did you choose VCASH over other providers?

A: I chose VCASH because VCASH is reliable. I took a break from the system for a while and returned to find out that my money was still intact.

Q: What do you like most about VCASH?

A: What I like most is the recent eNaira integration. It is very solid and relevant. I also like the Graphcard service.

Q: What areas would you like VCASH to improve on?

A: I would like VCASH to start allowing people to pay their bills is USD. For example, many people want to be able to pay their education and medical bills, but they need help with doing so.

Q: Do you have any suggestions or comments?

A: I would like VCASH to restart the use of VCASH recharge cards that allow people to deposit money into their bank accounts through an agent without having to go to the bank.
